road trip scavenger hunt game
Road trip anyone?
Who is planning on taking a trip soon? Are you visiting family for the holidays and going to be in the car for some time? If so you’re going to need something to keep those little ones busy.
Our family is heading to the beach for Christmas. So we will be in the van for about 12 hours with 5 kids! I’m hoping this scavenger hunt will help save our sanity. Of course, I will update on how it goes after our trip. But I really think it’s going to be a hit.
This road trip scavenger hunt is so fun for kids! Heck, I think even we will enjoy it. Kids love looking out the windows to see what they can find. And if you want to make it just a little more fun you can treat it like Bingo. If they find 3 across or just any 3 anywhere they can have a snack or a piece of candy! Instant fun and it keeps them from fighting and complaining the entire trip. Or for a little while at east!
Another fun idea I have seen on Pinterest is to use a cheap cookie pan from the Dollar Tree and use magnets to hold the paper. This would be really fun to try also and could double as a place to place a coloring book or a book while reading. We may get these also if I can find them at our local Dollar Tree before we leave.
