My Famous Hot Corn Recipe

The holidays are upon us and with that comes the holiday parties and family gatherings we are all there. Needing to bring a side dish and not sure what to bring? Are you needing something new and different?

I’m going to share my favorite go-to side dish for all those dinners you’ll be attending this holiday season. My Hot Corn recipe has been made for years by my husband’s family. They have been so kind to pass this recipe on to me. I’m always asked to bring this dish where ever we go. The best part it is so simple!

My Hot Corn Recipe

  • 5 cans of White Shoepeg Corn
  • 1 1/2 blocks Cream Cheese
  • 1 stick Salted Butter
  • jalapeno’s and juice

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Melt your stick of Butter and Cream Cheese and mix them together well
  3. Drain your Shoepeg Corn
  4. Mix it all together in your casserole dish
  5. Add 2-3 spoon fulls of Jalapenos (more or less depending on how hot you like it) I usually add 2 extra spoonfuls of just juice as well
  6. Bake at 350 for 1 hour
